Area Sales Manager
Position summary:
- Support of existing customers as well as acquisition of new customers from industry, commerce and Medium-sized companies in your assigned sales territory
- Technical advice and sale of new pumps, spare parts, service and maintenance concepts
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support of existing customers as well as acquisition of new customers from industry, commerce and Medium-sized companies in your assigned sales territory
- Technical advice and sale of new pumps, spare parts, service and maintenance concepts
- Tracking of offers and securing order intake with optimal margins
- Independent conduct of sales negotiations
- Development and implementation of the annual sales strategy for your sales region regarding Products, Market, Applications and Competitors
- Preparation and implementation of market analyses and action plans to increase sales and improve order profitability
- Observation and analysis of the market and competitive situation
- Maintenance of the company's own IT systems and regular reporting to your supervisor
Position Requirements:
- You are a technically interested person with practical professional experience in the sale, operation or repair and maintenance of pumps or other rotating equipment.
- Sales experience in the field of service is an advantage.
- You are a strong communicator, have persuasiveness and a confident appearance with customers.
- You bring great personal commitment, perseverance, and the ability to self-motivate.
- They have a high level of social competence and ideally are already excellently networked in the relevant industries in the region.
- You plan your work independently with a travel share of at least 70%.
- We require a good knowledge of Dutch, English or French, both written and spoken.
- An affinity for company-specific IT applications, as well as secure user knowledge of MS Office is required.
- You have a driver's license, at least class B
